  • Make Life More Affordable
    • Transform Childcare and Preschool: Expand access to infant and toddler childcare while creating a pathway to universal preschool statewide, building on recommendations from early learning experts convened by Governor Kotek.
    • Increase Affordable Housing Options: Expand housing options for renters and first-time buyers, cut red tape to expedite new construction, and increase development of starter homes and down payment assistance programs.
    • Defend Access to Health Care: Continue to strengthen access to mental health and addiction care, fight insurance rate hikes, defend the Oregon Health Plan from Trump’s Medicaid cuts, implement recommendations to grow the needed behavioral health workforce, protect access to maternal care in rural communities, and team up with other states to reduce the cost of prescription drugs.
    • Put People Over Profits: Ban pricing schemes that let corporations charge people different prices based on their personal data, crack down on hidden fees to improve accountability protections in Oregon’s insurance industry, and stop the practice of using AI to deny insurance claims.
    • Fight Trump’s Price Tag: Defend against Trump’s tariff taxes, new barriers to health care, cuts to SNAP food assistance, and any federal policies that raise costs for Oregonians.

  • Create More Economic Opportunity
    • Grow High-Quality Jobs: Focus recruitment and investment in emerging sectors, such as renewable energy and life sciences, and support Oregon’s long-standing strengths in tech manufacturing, agricultural products, sustainable timber, food and beverage, and apparel innovation.
    • Transform the State’s Economic Development Tools: Establish a new Department of Commerce to enhance Oregon’s competitiveness, coordination, and private-sector partnerships to expand economic growth in every region of the state.
    • Improve Regulatory Certainty: Establish enforceable statewide permitting timelines and guardrails to create clarity for businesses in Oregon.
    • Jumpstart Innovation and Home-Grown Ideas: Support startups, small and local businesses, and Oregon entrepreneurs by leveling the playing field and reducing barriers to second-stage growth.
    • Increase Readiness for Investment: Increase the supply of development-ready land while protecting farmland and honoring Oregon’s land use system and environmental values.
    • Support the Talent Pipeline: Connect more Oregon students to growing industries by accelerating K-12 career and technical education, attracting investment in quality jobs that cannot be replaced by artificial intelligence, and making targeted investments in colleges, universities, apprenticeship programs, and career pathway partnerships with employers.

  • Help All Students Succeed
    • Make Sure Every Student Gets a Full School Year: Increase the time students spend in the classroom learning with teachers, with the goal of meeting the national average of instructional time by the end of the second term.
    • Reduce Absenteeism Rates: Make sure every school has the tools and staffing they need to ensure high attendance, guarantee public access to attendance data in real time, and celebrate schools that are improving.
    • Invest in What Is Working: Sustain and grow literacy efforts (high-quality instruction, high-dosage tutoring, and science-based curriculum) during the school year and during the summer with effective programs in high-need districts across the state.
    • Focus on Measurable Results from Districts: Improve use of real-time assessments to monitor student learning instead of relying on standardized testing and insist school districts follow their plans to meet new performance standards.
    • Support Higher Expectations: Strengthen graduation requirements to guarantee an Oregon diploma means students are ready for their future.
    • Protect Kids from Digital Distractions: Limit social media access on school-issued devices to help schools address bullying and other safety challenges tied to technology and AI.

  • Defend What Makes Oregon Special
    • Stop Data Centers from Harming Our Communities: Prohibit all new data center development until statewide standards are in place to prevent electricity rate hikes, require clean energy production for new facilities, protect our clean air and water, and support union jobs.
    • Maintain Our Election System: Safeguard Oregon’s trusted and secure vote-by-mail system and hold the line against federal overreach.
    • Ensure Access to Reproductive Healthcare: Protect Oregonians from federal attempts to restrict access to abortion, birth control, and gender-affirming care, safeguard Oregon healthcare providers and patients from federal interference, and ensure Planned Parenthood can continue providing essential care.
    • Protect Our Neighbors: Stand up to ICE and other aggressive federal immigration enforcement, oppose the establishment of ICE detention facilities in Oregon and prevent automated license place readers and cameras from being used for immigration enforcement.
    • Support a Welcoming Oregon: Ensure every person can live, work, go to school, and raise a family safely and with dignity, no matter their race, ethnicity, gender, religion or disability — including defending our LGBTQ+ community from federal attacks.
    • Protect Oregon’s Natural Beauty: Ensure Oregonians have access to clean air and water, stronger salmon runs and healthy rivers, sustainable forests, and resilient landscapes and waters.
    • Fight Climate Change: Support communities to be climate resilient to wildfire, drought and extreme weather and maintain our commitment to a clean energy future.
